It is time to revive again on the political spectrum. Barack Obama has had a bad week-and it was his own doing. I am just about tired of the candidates by now and want this election over. They may have had me at Iowa, but by now it seems like overkill. The networks are looking for gaffs as if the animal is in season.
So Hilary had the "Annie Oakley" comments on learning how to use a gun. Is it not pandering to the rural Pennsylvania voter in a different way? Couldn't the case be made for Obama in San Francisco? The networks say "elitist" I say pandering, although it was not the best words to use.
Which brings me to this point--Who is the "real" Obama
When the election process was starting I thought, "Here is a guy who seems like the best person for the job. He speaks well, Knows what he wants to do in the White House, and has some sort of plan for Iraq. Yet, what do I think now? He is pandering carpetbagger who wants the votes of the super delegates, he can't remember more than twenty years of sermons from Wright (who I despise) above it all Obama's comments in the city make me cringe, because I like him so much. And now I feel like I got on the uniter train and got off an elitist. Shit, I even donated to the campaign by buying two buttons and a T-shirt claiming who I would vote for in November.
But now I am not so sure.
The way Hillary and Obama have been going at it lately is so funny, its sad. What did I hear at the beginning of the campaign? Play nice---It never fucking works out that way. I predict they will go at it until Denver when Uniter Dean will step in and tell them to knock it off. As for the future of the election-100 year old McCain is simply keeping his mouth shut until the "swift boat" ads come out claiming the Democrats want you to think they are working for you, but can't stop yelling at each other. Like I stated before...sad.
Bottom Line- The democrats in my book better in the next few months start talking about the issues, or my vote may go elsewhere. I am tired of the childish bickering. And if Hillary CLINTON is the nominee- I will vote for McCain. We don't need a Bush, Clinton, Dubya, Clinton Dynasty for the presidency.
